Meet the Founder

Dani Botelho
M.A. | BCBA | QBA

Hello! I’m Dani Botelho, passionate about delivering high-quality interventions that make a positive impact on people’s lives.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis with a specialization in Autism from Cambridge College in Boston, MA, I am dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and other disorders.

With an international background, I work as an Early Intervention Specialist and Behavior Analyst in both the United States and Brazil.

My experience ranges from developing individualized education plans (IEPs) to early intervention, social skills groups, educational activity planning, and much more.

I believe in an ABA approach grounded in Compassion, Dignity, and Respect, and it is this philosophy that guides my work at the Dani Botelho Institute.

Here, my goal is to provide support, guidance, and resources to parents and professionals, as well as offer workshops and courses related to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

I am committed to creating a lasting, positive impact on every person I have the privilege to work with.

Let’s make a difference together!

Services

1Initial Assessment and Individualized Program Development
We begin with a comprehensive assessment to understand the strengths, challenges, and needs of the individual. Based on this assessment, we create an individualized treatment plan, tailored to specific goals such as communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
21:1 Therapy Sessions
Our certified ABA therapists work one-on-one with the individual to implement the behavior intervention plan. These sessions focus on teaching new skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and promoting positive behaviors in daily routines.
3Parent and Caregiver Training
We believe in empowering families through training and support. Our ABA professionals provide ongoing coaching to parents and caregivers, helping them apply ABA strategies consistently to reinforce learning in everyday activities.
4Behavior Reduction and Skill Acquisition
We target both behavior reduction and skill acquisition, addressing behaviors like aggression, self-injury, and non-compliance, while also focusing on building essential life skills such as communication, self-care, and social interactions.
5Data Collection and Progress Monitoring
Our team regularly collects data during each session to track progress. This data is used to make informed decisions about modifying the treatment plan to ensure the individual continues to progress toward their goals.
6Flexible Scheduling
In-home services offer flexibility, allowing therapy sessions to be scheduled at times that work best for the family. We integrate learning into natural routines and daily activities for a seamless experience.
7Collaboration with Schools and Other Professionals
We collaborate with schools, teachers, and other professionals involved in the individual’s care to ensure consistency across all settings, creating a holistic approach to intervention.

By bringing ABA services directly into the home, we ensure that learning happens in the most natural environment, leading to meaningful and lasting change.
