Where Play, Learning, and Growth Come Together

At DB Institute for Autism & Behavior, we provide clinic-based, play-based ABA therapy for children with autism and related developmental needs. Our approach is individualized, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices that support meaningful learning and long-term growth.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive in an environment that values connection, motivation, and developmentally appropriate care. By partnering closely with families, we focus on building skills that promote independence, confidence, and an improved quality of life.

Our mission is to create lasting, positive change by helping children learn in ways that feel natural, engaging, and meaningful.

Founder & Clinical Director

Dani Botelho, M.A., BCBA

Hello! I’m Dani Botelho, Founder and Clinical Director of DB Institute for Autism & Behavior. I am passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate, and play-based ABA therapy that creates meaningful and lasting change for children and their families.

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis with a specialization in Autism at Cambridge College in Boston, MA. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based practices, early intervention, and family-centered care.

With international experience working in both the United States and Brazil, my background includes early intervention services, clinic-based ABA programs, social skills development, individualized program design, and collaboration with families and professionals.

My approach to ABA is rooted in compassion, dignity, and respect, with a strong emphasis on motivation, engagement, and developmentally appropriate learning through play. This philosophy guides all clinical services at DB Institute for Autism & Behavior.

As the Clinical Director, I personally oversee program development, supervision, and quality of care to ensure every child receives individualized, ethical, and effective treatment.

It is my mission to support families, empower professionals, and create an environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
